The property is situated just a few minutes walk from the historic Hadrian's Wall in stunning countryside, adjoining the Milecastle Inn pub which we also own and manage ourselves! Our cosy pub has a reputation for outstanding food, well kept ales and a good selection of wines. It is perfect for a holiday away whilst enjoying all the comforts of home.
The location is in the heart of an area known as the "Centre of Britain" and surrounded by the amazing historic attractions of the ancient Romans. Ideal for walkers, explorers or those who just want a chilled getaway. On the AD122 Hadrian's Wall Country Bus Route and 2 miles from Haltwhistle Train Station.

Perfect location for hiking Hadrian’s Wall
We loved our stay at the Milecastle Inn. Our little apartment was a perfect size for us, clean and well equipped. They even stocked it with snacks and breakfast items. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy with good food. The most amazing part was that you can easily walk to Hadrian’s Wall from the Inn. It is also right next to the bus stop from Haltwhistle and the train station. Overall it made for a perfect vacation!

Very clean and well equipped apartment with exceptionally helpful hosts. Dinner in the pub next door was delicious too.
