During our stay, my sister-in-law (who had rented the property just two days before us) reported roaches, mice, and bed bugs. She mentioned that pest control was called, but the problems continued — we still heard mice in the walls, and my sister was bitten by bed bugs during our stay.We wanted to leave early and request a refund but weren’t sure of the proper process. When my sister-in-law asked the owner for a reduced price due to these conditions, she never received a response.Given the severity of these issues, the property should not have been listed in this condition. We believe we are entitled to a refund and that Vrbo do a property inspection or shut this place down from renting. There was also issues with checking in - they keypad didn’t work. The house was dirty when we arrived and had forget bugs beside the roaches and bed bugs. There was some kind of oil that was dripping from the trees in the driveway that stained the cars - the cleaning lady even had to wash the car. Communication with the owner was poor as well.
