Cozy and nostalgic haven in the middle of the town

Beautiful and unique hotel with an authentic B&B aesthetic, a cozy room with a comfy bed and very friendly service. The breakfast was also very tasty. The hotel is in an old house, so noise suppression is not the best, but that is something that just comes with the territory. Hämeenlinna is a pretty quiet town, so outside noises are not a problem. Heartily recommended as an alternative to more boring and conventional hotels.

Noise from the street is very loud. The room was very hot despite the relatively cold summer night, so we had to keep the window open. I would not recommend taking a room without AC during the summer in this place.

Hurmaava satavuotias majatalo, yövyimme täällä nyt yhdeksättä kertaa. Saatiin huone jota toivottiin, koska haluttiin nähdä tämä uudestaan. Se on majatalon pienin ja säilytystilaa ei ole juuri nimeksikään. Lyhyellä reissulla ei paljoa tavaroita ole mukana, eikä onneksi ollut tarvetta sään puolesta myöskään paljoille vaatteille. Kylpyhuone erittäin tilava huoneen kokoon nähden. Suihkukoppi tilava ja tiivis. Vettä joutui laskea aika kauan, että sai lämmintä, eikä bidee toiminut kunnolla, kun puolet vedestä valui hanasta, vaikka bideen nappi oli pohjassa. Ympäristöasioista toivoisin, että majoituspalvelut ylipäätään lisäisivät jätelajittelumahdollisuuksia. Tässä talossa on itsepalvelukanttiini ja oleskelutila, sen yhteydessä voisi hyvin olla paikka pahveille tai metalleille. Sänky ihana, peitot muhkeat ja tyynyjä riittävästi. Talo on täynnä harkittuja pieniä yksityiskohtia. Asiakaspalvelu hoituu viereisen kahvilan kautta, tämä noudattaa samaa tyylilinjaa ja palvelu on erinomaista. Ainoa miinus sähköposteista. Tämä viestintä on hyvin muun imagon vastaista ja vastaukset viesteihin ovat surullisen töksähtäviä. Tätä kanavaa selvästi hallinnoi eri ihmiset, kuin somekanavia.

Viihtyisä vanhantyylinen majatalo, joka oli sisustettu hyvällä maulla. Helteisenä aikana ilmastointi oli tarpeen ja toimi hyvin. Kohdalle osuneet katutyöt aiheuttivat vähän haasteita kulkemiseen ja meteliä aamulla, mutta eipä niistä hotellia voi syyttää - opastusta ja tiedottamista olisi toki voinut parantaa. Aamiainen viereisessä kahvilassa oli maukas, mutta melko suppea.
