Nice place to stay with a good breakfast

We liked the area , the pool the breakfast and the overall stay. But we had extrenley noisey people upstairs. We dealt with it uo untill 1130 pm from 530pm. We had to call multiple times and they called up to them several times and they still would not liste. Sounded like they were literlltly going to come through the roof and we had 3 young kids trying to sleep. I understood they had police arrive that night for the amount of noise i found out in the morning. Will want to return as we come to brantford a few times a year but definitly not placed under a large party crew. They offered to change rooms but i wasnt getting into that at midnight we were settled in our beds and tons of stuff layed around the room.

The smell, carpet is old and dirty. Smelt like cigarettes down our hallway and down to the pool area. Hot tub was dirty, scum on the sides Carpets need to go in the rooms - so gross. Kids running around in the hallways at 1130 at night, waking people up. Breakfast was great and dining room. Very nice. Again carpet needs to go.

Solo Female Traveler

My stay was decent, room was comfortable and check in was quick. I will say that the hallways are SO DIRTY. I am talking dirt covered carpets and THE SMELL. Very stinky in through each hallway. Also, a suggestion to staff at check in. If a young solo female traveler is checking in and there is a lobby full of single male guests, I would not be handing her room number face up and announcing the number out loud. It’s very unsafe to do so and puts a target on their back if anyone in that lobby had scary intentions. My suggestion would be to hand the card and number face down and simply say “you room number is written on the card sleeve for you”. Simple and easy. Would put a lot of women at ease knowing their room in which they are staying in alone isn’t being announced to strangers.
