Had to change rooms because of smell in first one, second room was not much better. Seems to be very old building and smell is coming from pipes/plumbing. No windows to open either and air it out. Staff were great but facilities need improving.

Convenient breakfast situation, pleasant restaurant next to venue. Pleasant and attentive staff. Rather basic room, but scrupulously clean and incredibly helpful and pleasantly friendly cleaning staff. Great location for walking access to Museum of Waikato and Art Gallery.

Nothing unique or could be cleanliness in rooms (dirty oil dripping from the door), corridors are just scary, old, numbering of rooms is hectic, rooms in front of business trainings toilets should NOT be for rent… one lamp on (one of the 2) table (s) next to beds. NO USB plugs. Do they really think they can call the bathroom a decent bathroom for the years 2020’s ? Personnel trying to help but contradictory answers as about where to find the parking. The way to parking is the worst l have EVER seen in my my all life of a hotel. Too much money for what it is. Poor area (Junkies/ drunks) and noisy in rooms facing the street. A bad experience

A little disappointed

The room was very dated, thin walls could hear a lot of other rooms with a lot of construction noise throughout the night, mouldy bathroom. Bed was very hard. Was only for one night stay and likely the most basic room they have but I would have expected more from a well known brand like Ramada

Tiny bathroom

Room was small, but the bathroom was tiny with a big step to get into and out shower. The room was not very clean and the paint work and cupboards were shabby. No view, just flat roof and brick wall. Luckily only stayed one night. Trouble with key card on arrival, had to go down to reception 4 times before being given a different room, which still had key card issues. Someone came and changed batteries in door lock. Did I mention the tiny tiny bathroom, it was so tight. Bed comfy and sheets crisp and clean.

My room smelt very musty and had mouldy curtains,thankfull to reception who kindly moved me to a nice clean room...aircon can only do so much ,i would suggest better extractor fans in the bathrooms which i have noticed some of the bathrrooms have no fan or window.

Poor quality hotel

This hotel is very run down and in poor condition. The room we had was small and compact. The ac unit needed repair, the bathroom was mouldy. Our room was by the gym access door which had no handle and slammed everytime someone used it.

Look you get what you pay for. Yes it is old. But it works. Yes it’s in the Main Street of Hamilton. Yes you can walk to most places. Parking 25$ Great Breakfast, Staff friendly (Whole Hotel) Good for what I require for a short stay.

Disgusting $30 per hour early check in charge

$30 per hour charge for early check in and it doesn’t matter if the room is ready early or not. So arrive midday, the room is ready but it’ll cost $60 to check in. Filthy.

Our room was decades past renovation date with wall paper dating from the 70’s. There was a line of dirt/dust on the floor around the walls and fittings where the vacuum cleaner hadn’t reached. The door handle with swiped card reader was loose as was the knob on the wardrobe and appeared to have been this way for years. The room smelt a little damp but the a/c was quiet and worked well. Bathroom was clean though mould around the shower and the silicone was leaking enough for a large puddle to form quickly. Water pressure was good and water hot. The restaurant had a good selection for both dinner and breakfast, but the general ambience of the facility was run down and neglected. Staff were all nice.
