Downtown Hamilton is rough with homeless. The parking structure is very tight, 6ft 2 is pretty tight to fit trucks and suv. But the overall hotel and restaurant is great.

There are a lot of homeless people just outside the door. If it weren’t for the tunnel to the convention centre my kids didn’t feel safe. Also a lot of smoking near the entrance which I don’t enjoy for my kids.

Terrible check in/charged when I was told I was t

We arrived to the systems being down , couldn’t fully check in for an hour, they manually checked us it by walking us to our rooms . But we couldn’t go to our rooms or back up to our rooms with out a key card( which we couldn’t get because of the system being down. I was then notified that we couldn’t leave the parking garage unless we wanted to pay for a ticket since their system was down. So we missed a planned outing cause $40 ticket is ridiculous when I’m paying and the. Said they didn’t think they could comp it . After a couple hours of dicking around they figured most of it out , when I was checking in the right way they said parking would be complex for my two cars , mid weekend mutiple of us had to constantly call for service cause our parking passes QR codes wouldn’t work . At one point. I said there for 15 minutes running late to a baseball game and had no choice but to pay $37 to get out of parking cause they wouldn’t answer . Upon checking out I verified they would comp parking , and made sure they knew again that they said they would comp parking and verify they knew I had to pay at one point for a ticket . So I all together spend extra $100 roughly I shouldn’t have

Hotel was great, nicely updated, probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on. Area is a bit rough but very walkable. Connects to an indoor mall. The person who checked us in was very sweet, asked about our day etc... Nice breakfast however we did find ants on the pastries. Thank you!

It was so nice after a day out to come back to the hotel. Our room was so comfortable and there is a really nice bar on the second floor that we always stop into before going to bed. The service and the food in the restaurant is also fantastic.

Our first experience with this place was the drive in. Being from the nyc area I have seen the worst society has to offer but I was still shocked at the number of homeless people and people who were very obviously high. It doesn’t feel like a safe place to just walk around. The second experience was the lady at the front desk who looked and acted like she would rather be shoveling manure in a barn than assisting customers. She was very frigid and we did not feel comfortable asking basic questions. When she did answer it was not at all friendly as if answering our questions was a Hugh problem. Then there was the room. A very loud ac which went on and off all night making it hard to sleep. You can’t turn it off or you get hot so it’s a must have. Also there was no ventilation in the bathroom. We also found ants in our room. How ants made it to the 14 floor is beyond me. When we asked for help we were told they couldn’t do anything. The lack of continental breakfast offered by other places was also a huge inconvenience. The internet was horrible and we had problems accessing it. I also did not appreciate the hour of partying going on in the hall at 11 at night. There should be posted quiet hours. Finally when we went to leave we couldn’t get out because the pass given to us didn’t work. Nothing more annoying than trying to leave he’ll and being locked in. Needless to say I do not recommend this place

Very friendly staff, veey nice and clean property also rooms and bathrooms were clean and bed was comfy. Very convenient stay. Not sure why but out of 3 lift ther are only 1 was working and whenever we want ro go in room or gpimg out we had to wait in line almost 25 minuts.both way. Otherthen that it was great experience .
