Cliffside Hideaway is a cozy, seasonal lakeside retreat on Black Lake, designed for guests seeking a private and relaxed getaway. Perched above the water, this two-bedroom, one-bath cabin comfortably accommodates up to seven guests and offers a private dock down below.
Guests reach the cabin by walking up a set of stairs to a private entrance, where a deck welcomes you with seating for four and a beautiful lake view. Inside, the cabin opens into a comfortable living area that includes a renovated kitchen, dining area with seating for four, and a cozy living area. The sofa converts to a full-size bed, providing additional sleeping space. The cabin includes two bedrooms, designed with families in mind. One bedroom features a queen bed and stunning lake views. While the second bedroom includes a twin-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle, making it ideal for children or additional guests. A newly updated bathroom is located nearby and features a walk-in stand-up shower. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the deck or head down the stairs to their private dock for fishing or spending time by the water. Please note that access to both the cabin and the dock requires the use of stairs.
Located within Back Bay Campground, Cliffside Hideaway offers a private setting with full access to campground amenities, including a heated pool, 24/7 arcade, walking trails, and a camp store offering seasonal rentals and activities. Whether you’re spending the day out on the lake, exploring the campground, or unwinding back at the cabin, everything you need for a relaxed lake stay is close at hand.
Cliffside Hideaway is currently undergoing off-season renovations and will be ready for the upcoming season. Planned updates include a renovated kitchen, bathroom, deck, and all-new furnishings. Seasonal Cabin
Cliffside Hideaway is currently a seasonal cabin and is available from May 1 through September 30. We plan to open the cabin year-round in the future, so please check back for updates.

Sleeping Arrangements
This cabin accommodates up to 7 guests and includes one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk and a twin trundle. The living room also has a full-size sofa bed for additional sleeping space.

This cabin is currently undergoing renovations to the kitchen, bathroom, deck, and furniture, so photos may not reflect the latest improvements. The cliffside perch is part of the charm, just be mindful on the stairs to the dock.

As a guest of this cabin, you'll find an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and an arcade/game room. This cabin also features a garden and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
