Our room was dirty, wrappers on the floor, ants in the room, bathroom floor was sticky, no soap in the dispenser, counter was dirty, light was broken when we walked in. The breakfast was good and the counter staff were nice. The pool was also cold and cloudy so we didn’t swim.

Disappointed but decent room.

Reserved this hotel to take my kid swimming on the last day of her spring break just to get to the hotel and the pool was closed! Would have been nice to have that posted somewhere on the site. Main purpose of the stay was the pool and a getaway. Very disappointed and kind of a waste of money but the room was clean and the beds were comfy

The Room The tub in my room was not clean properly. It had a ring going around the inside of the tub! We had to get our own towels from the lobby. Due to not having enough staff. I guess we were supposed to clean our own rooms since housekeeping never came not one time out of the 2 nights we stayed in the two rooms we reserved. Garbage piled up in both rooms. No wi-fi in either room. Called anout it seversl times, and they did nothing to resolve the issue! Ice Machine The ice machine on my floor did not work during my stay. Elevator Not only slow, but saw a roach in the elevator. Dining Room/Breakfast Breakfast was not the best, but it is free. However after eating breakfast the first day of the 2 days we were there, we see la roach crawling in the food area on the paper plates, which is near the food area! Pool Pool is out of order! So nothing for the kids to do inside the hotel. No apologies for any of the complaints! But, you will best believe I will not stay at this Holiday Inn Express/Hammond ever again! As having my own travel agency, I will not recommend any of my clients to stay there either!

The property seemed clean and daytime staff friendly and available, however, we had ants in our room. Hot water in bathroom didn’t work properly. Only lukewarm on our first night and then cold showers the second night. Toilet wouldn’t flush properly without holding down the handle for an extended time. Night time staff was not readily available. Stood in the lobby for 10 minutes waiting on someone to show up and finally had to go behind the counter myself into an open door to ask someone to come out and help me. Hotel was advertised with a pool, but when we arrived the pool was closed. Overall, in no way was this hotel worth a nearly $500 bill for the weekend. Very disappointing. Reported to management but have not heard back. Will be contacting corporate for a partial refund.

Awful. Walked in, not greeted by front desk. There was a bottle of roach spray on the counter. Not a good sign We were charged $223, for one night. For the quality of a Motel 6. No pool- it was “broken”, weed smell that was overwhelming, had to ask for towels, no curtains- picture was provided… we got a full light view all night. Front desk was awful, rude. On their phone.

Great Stay

We chose this hotel because it was close to the Hard Rock Casino were we we're going to see Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. To our surprise and delight the band members to the show were staying here also, we got to talk to them at breakfast and get some pictures. The hotel was a clean and friendly place to stay. I would recommend it and will stay here again.
