1. LOCATION
First constructed by a French-educated local architect in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s, this Vietnamese traditional accommodation used to catch people’s eyes with its elegant colonial French architecture, sticking out amongst the average confined households of post-war Hanoi. However, as it was passed through a few generations of owners, the house slowly lost its original beauty and was left dusted in a corner of the rapidly changing capital.

2. SPACE
As we found the house, we decided to recreate its authentic charms: elegant but not obnoxious, cozy but not boring, full of greens and sunlight yet still quiet and private – everything coming together in a contemporary European design.
