Moon Tide Cottage on a tranquil cove in Harpswell is where your vacation begins!

Welcome to Moon Tide cottage! As you walk through the door you will enter the "mud" room where you can leave your shoes, jackets and play things for your ocean side adventure. When you open the door to the open living space you will be greated by two large sliding glass doors going directly out to the wrap around deck and gaze at the cove 30 feet below on gorgeous Quahog bay. I hope you brought fishing poles, kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys as there are so many places to explore. The cottage also comes with a community boat ramp if you have a boat in tow and a mooring availabe with prior approval. The open living space includes a gourmet kitchen fully equiped with everything you need for your summer lobster bakes and a grill with smoker outside. The kitchen features custom cabinets, open shelving, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and large refridgerator. Walk upstairs to settle into the 2 bedrooms with plush queen mattresses, closets and a built in work station. The reading nook also has a plush full size mattress on the floor which is nice for children. A half bathroom is also upstairs. You will notice the interior finishes gives a nod to its sea faring location and has many recycled, sustainable materials. At low tide you may be able to snag some clams from the local harvesters! Take a walk down to the point where the community area is with a wharf and digny dock. It's also a great place to swim in the warmer then normal Atlantic Ocean.

Moon Tide Cottage is the perfect place to explore Harpswell and mid coast Maine. It close to Bowdoin College Art Museam, Maine State Music Theater, Maine Maritime Museum, fishing and sailing charters, Maine Oyster Trail, shopping and the list goes on!
