Great experience!

The hotel was great. Front desk was nice and fast. The pool was clean and my daughter loved cooling off after a day of Hershey. It was only about 10 minutes from Hershey. Room was clean, modern and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was good with a good variety of eggs, cereal, potatoes, muffins, turkey sausage and fruit. We had a great time and will definitely stay again next time we go to Hershey

Hershey trip

Front desk was so nice ,he let us check in early. Con : had cubbies no dresser or closet. Bed comfortable. We did see two centipeds one in shower and one crawiling on wall. But other than that very clean and quite. No microwave in room but can use one in lobby. Breakfast area is nice but they can mix it up stayed two days and they had same. Eggs , potatoes, crumbled bacon. But overall price we paid for our stay was no disappointing. Close to Hersheypark also which was nice and convenient.

The room almost seemed unfinished, the shower head wasn’t fully enclosed in the wall, shower door was installed improperly so couldn’t close all the way. Also little bit of trash left in room before we got there

I will start off by saying that the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately when we got to our room. The floor was dirty. It had a smell of stale food. There was leftover food in the refrigerator and an open container of soap in the shower. we were extremely disappointed that being said they did give us a new room, but no type of compensation.

Hotel was either brand new or recently renovated. It was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed in one of the rooms on the first floor and unfortunately the guest right above us were up all night and so we could hear them walking all night long. Reached out to the front desk to ask for a room on the highest floor and they were able to relocate us which we appreciated it. Breakfast can be much better but overall very good and reasonable price.

The front desk guy and staff are real decent to work with. Rooms clean. Problem was people letting their kids running through the hotel playing on elevators and stairs yelling and knocking on peoples doors. We had to yell at the kids to stop while nobody did anything about these kids with the parents sitting in the lobby. Its a new hotel so it was literally slapped together. Non of the doors lined up gaps everywhere. The hot water doesn’t exist in the morning or the night. After noon my wife had hot water to shower. Surface cleaned under the bed so much dust and dirt vinyl flooring. No microwave. Constant knocking sound coming from the room refrigerator not mounted so it knocks in the wood cabinet. Couldn’t stream Netflix. Once all the quirks are worked out then I can see charging the rates. Couldn’t sleep worth a lick to much noise. Could hear the neighbor breathing.

The first room we were given, the shower door was too big for the shower area and wouldn’t close, the staff said they had issues with the contractors that did the renovations and a lot of the rooms had an issue with the shower doors. Our 2nd room they moved us to was dirty, there were crumbs of chips all over the floor as if no one cleaned. The bathroom walls had coffee splatter stains on it. On top of all that, there were guests, teenagers and younger kids running around the hotel at 6am yelling and acting wild. They need to put “quiet hour” signs up so people who don’t have common sense can be considerate of other people that are trying to sleep. Overall the stay at this place was horrendous. I should have stayed at the Home2suites a few miles down the road. Never again staying at an Avid!
