The room was nice and clean. It’s a very noisy location. Lots of traffic outside, but that can be overlooked because the location is so convenient to the arena. The issue I ran into was at the restaurant. The wait in line was astronomically long 30+ minutes. Then when I finally got to the front of the line I was told they were out of one of the items I requested. I said ok I need to find look at the menu real quick to pick something else, to which I was informed “we are really busy you know” by the man at the counter. I informed him I was aware they were busy but I patiently waited in the line the whole time I just needed a second to pick something else. I was then handed a menu which was for breakfast. Then he was able to track down one for dinner. I understand he was frustrated about being so busy but they could have said to the line “we are out of ——— Item” so people who are waiting looking at menus are prepared. I selected the cheeseburger and Chicken quesadilla. They came out fairly quickly, however the quesadilla didn’t come with all the listed sides. I figured it was a moot point to go ask because he had already been so rude. Later that evening I stopped back in to grab something before bed and someone different was working. The wait was still extremely long. While waiting two women were arguing loudly at the bar. I was able to place my order, however he did forget 1 of the 2 items I had ordered so I had to wait for him to get that. Not the greatest experience.

I did not eat breakfast, nor have coffee. Needed to resume my trip with an early start. I do think there was a bit of road noise, even on the 9th floor. Bed, pillow was comfy, and the temperature was easily controllable and good...helped for sleeping. Nice design (including cabinetry that housed the refrigerator, etc. concealed inside) of the accommodations. Very cool vanity in the bathroom. Shower-only in the bathroom with a sliding glass door.

Staff at check in was lukewarm; everything was overpriced from the room, to parking. Asked for but didn’t get cookie. Finally got two at departure that were not warm. Tub faucet was leaking terribly in the room throughout my stay.

The front desk staff were not forthcoming with any communication that caused a delay in checking in. It wasn’t until their supervisor showed up that we were provided with an explanation and a very nice comp considering the double inconvenience that we were experiencing. Suggest more training of staff so they are just as empowered as their supervisor to handle customer service. Thank you.
