Beware... upstairs apartment
This is an older, charming upstairs apartment in need of some loving care. No place in the description of this property did it state that it was upstairs. We would not have booked it had we known. We didn't appreciate having to carry luggage up a flight of stairs. It was sparsely furnished. It's a three bedroom space and we assumed it would be outfitted for six people. There wasn't adequate seating; only a couch in the living room that would seat three and only four places at the dining room table. There were only four flatware settings as well. Lots of plates but only three bowls and not enough glasses. You couldn't cook in this kitchen; no mixing bowls, measuring cups or spoons. Also no dishwasher. There was one roll of toilet paper and1/2 container of hand soap. There were no bathroom hand towels or kitchen towels. Only one cheap, thin blanket per bed (three) with no extras. We only found one smoke detector in the dining room and no carbon monoxide detectors. We switched around light bulbs as the one in the bathroom was out. All of the following were listed in the amenities but weren't there: hair dryer, shampoo, iron, safe, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, kids dinnerware. We would definitely not stay here again for the lack of furnishings, upstairs location and not very clean.
