The Mandarin is a private waterfront retreat in Hartswell, Great Exuma, with breathtaking views of Moriah Cay and its protected National Park. From your own dock, you can set out each day to discover pristine sandbars, secluded beaches, and calm turquoise waters.

This spacious home features 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 10 adults and a baby. A pool overlooking the ocean, a large yard, and an outdoor bar with a Hibachi grill make it perfect for family gatherings or relaxed evenings. The house is fully air-conditioned, equipped with modern amenities, and powered in part by solar energy with natural filtered rainwater. A backup generator ensures peace of mind during island power outages.

Moriah Cay—famous for its untouched beaches and crystal-clear waters—is less than 500 yards from your door. Two kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards are included, giving you the freedom to explore nearby islands, fishing flats, and hidden coves. For more adventures, boat rentals can be arranged to Stocking Island, Elizabeth Harbour, or Sandy Cay.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac away from the Queen’s Highway, The Mandarin offers the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. Within minutes, you can reach local attractions, dining, and the natural wonders of Exuma, and in just 20 minutes you’ll be in the heart of George Town.

This place is special and was perfect for our group. The kitchen is very well equipped and location is perfect between Georgetown amenities and the beautiful beaches in Little Exuma. The layout is great for gathering...and separating for privacy when you want. The Mandarin House was perfect for our family of 9. Plenty of room to spread out and have our own space. The house had everything you would need for a great time in Exuma. Kitchen was well appointed with anything you might need for cooking meals. The generator was great for power outages. Filtered water available. Loved the pool and dock for boat we rented from Drex. He was great to work with. Monica and Jonas were great host and always responded quickly to any questions.

Beautiful spot, super convenient, lovely people. Groceries easy to find. Kitchen perfect for food prep and group meals. Sitting by pool lovely. We had some challenges with the ac units smelling of mold due to lack of use, bleaching prior to guests arrival would solve that.

Beautiful Setting

We loved this property. The actual set-up of the house, the beautiful view, and the wonderful dock and access to water. We were able to see sea turtles and snorkeled right off the dock and saw starfish and small fish and corals. We loved the pool area. The meal that Bola came and cooked was amazing. Thank you Monica for being so helpful through the whole process.

The perfect place for 2 couples. It was great-each couple had their own space in the evening but we ate breakfast together in the main house each morning and gathered to play cards and just hangout. We were there in September and there were not a lot of restaurants that were open so we did a lot of cooking in the evening as well. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Mandarin. Monica was extremely helpful. A few issues with the dingy. Wasn’t working until two days prior to departure. Owner was on top of issues and trying to solve the problem. All in all we had a great memorable trip.
