Close to Canmore

We did enjoy our stay, but there are a few things that could’ve been better. I like to hear from an owner after we check in, but there was not a word of communication after we checked in. We also had some confusion with walking the front door as it took me a while to figure out that after entering the code you had to press the top button, not once, but twice. If that’s always the way, the front door works we should’ve been told. The knives in the kitchen were extremely dull and could hardly cut anything. They need to be sharpened or replaced. There was no body wash in the upstairs bathroom. The towel bar in the downstairs bathroom is easily dislodged and fell to the floor a few times. The oven mitts in the kitchen are falling apart and need to be replaced. On the positive side parking was easy, we liked its proximity to Canmore, the beds were very comfortable and it’s a good jumping off point to Banff.

Everything is a bare minimum. Prior to arrival, one question was answered via vrbo message; however, when we were in the property, phone calls and vrbo messages were not answered. We will not rent at this property again.

Accommodations were as expected very clean warm

We had a great family experience but we were really hoping the hot tub and pool would have been open that is one of the main reasons we rented this property. Overall it was good
