Wake up in the morning and step out onto the sundeck with your morning coffee for some fresh air to start the day. Be sure to make the most of the kitchen equipped with everything you might need for creating those delicious holiday meals. In the summer fire up the BBQ, sit back and soak up every minute of your break away.

You will feel worlds away at this peaceful and private lakeside escape, yet you are just a short drive from all the action at Taupo - enjoy the best of both worlds! Family reunion

Have holidayed in Hatepe for forty years so have rented many properties. Enjoyed the lake side position, the open fire and comfortable furnishings. There was only one extra blanket for the beds for my grandchildren who had come to NZ from 30 + degrees . Thanks owners for letting your property. I nursed with Di North in PN Hospital many years ago when we trained and Dr North was Med Superintendent? ( or have wrong family)??

Bachcare

Stephanie at bach care was brilliant. Communicated promptly and was very helpful. The Bach itself had everything you need and was clean. The Bach took sometime to heat up even though plenty of heaters and a fireplace there. Maybe nobody had been in for a while . It was built in the 50’s and possibly uninsulated. However, beautiful views and would be an amazing summer Bach.
