The famous and historic cathedral city of St. David’s is a 10 minutes’ drive away with its 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishop’s Palace that you can explore. There are many art galleries, gift shops, good choice of restaurants and traditional pubs specialising in local produce, making it a great location.

Southwood Cottage offers a great base to uncover this area. Its bright and airy, well-equipped kitchen which leads through to the spacious living/dining room where you can enjoy those views, curl up on the sofa with a good movie with the glow of the wood burner, or sit back with a good book. The Pembrokeshire coast path is easily accessible from your garden and one-way walks can be facilitated with the local bus service which passes through the village of Newgale. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions!
