The Neighborhood:

Nolton Haven is a hidden gem in the St Bride’s Bay area of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It’s the perfect base to explore the many fantastic beaches and attractions this wonderful part of Pembrokeshire has to offer. This sleepy little village has a sheltered sandy beach where you can sit and relax, explore rock pools, or join the spectacular coastal path for beautiful scenic walking. A country pub and cafe serving food overlooks the bay where you can enjoy a meal after a long day. From this delightful village you can enjoy all Pembrokeshire has to offer, sandy beaches, historic castles, churches and manor houses, wonderful wildlife both on and offshore with boat trips to the bird island of Skomer and Ramsay, and for something more exhilarating, whitewater rides. The smallest city in the UK, St. Davids, is nearby, with its majestic cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, National Park visitor centre and the bustling but quaint seaside resort of Tenby can be reached in about forty minutes, with its colourful, painted Georgian properties set along the bay, and a variety of restaurants and shops, a gallery and array of unique little shops, public houses and eating places. Also well worth a visit are Barafundle Beach, Porthgain, the fossil beach of Marloe Sands and Newgale Beach, great for surfing and watersports, while cycling, fishing, rock climbing and coasteering can also be enjoyed in the area. The Cosy chalet

Check in was easy with no problems. The Sat nav took us straight there and there was no issue with parking. Rooms were quite spacious, enough wardrobe space for the 3 of us. Plenty of dishes and kitchen utensils. The area itself was very quiet, nice pub/cafe on beach. Plenty of walks around on coastal path. Solva and St Davids not far away on coastal road. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Good weather will help as not much else to do but get out and enjoy the scenery. Only 2 negatives, 2 cereal bowls weren't clean and atleast one full loo roll would have been helpful!
