Had a long day of travelling on the road and wanted to get into our room as soon as possible. We tried our keycard several times, and it wasn't working until a half-naked man opened from the inside and told us the room was already taken. We had to go back to the front desk to say someone was in the room that we were just sent to, and sure enough, it was taken. They had to move us over to the room right next to it. It was a very awkward and embarrassing experience. The breakfast in the morning helped make up for it a bit. We thought the breakfast was better than most average hotel breakfasts.

Night staff had trouble finding our reservation. Our hotel door did not lock and the bathroom in our bedroom had a weird blood spot on roof. The Wi-Fi was not operating. On the positive side, beds and pillows were very comfortable. The HBO channels were ample and the TV was a good size. In the morning heading to breakfast we were charged 50 dollars(for our family of 4), even though the Expedia app breakfast was listed as included(kids eat free Hilton). When I approached the staff, they said I was suppose to mark that I wanted breakfast for additional $29.00 even though I didn’t see that option on the app. The front desk lady showed me the website for Expedia and where I was “suppose to mark 29.00 for breakfast”which looked completely different from the app. Not to mention is price gouging because it’s more online than in person. It’s frustrating to deal with Hiltons tricky pricing. For example, if you book directly with Hilton, there is a 50 processing fee and 18.17 tax fee but on Expedia app there is no fee make the room 60 dollars cheaper. Adding the weird breakfast policy to squeeze more money out of your guests is so unnecessary and greedy.

I didn’t get to use my reservation, I had a family emergency (wife had a stroke and I needed to change my reservation to the next day, and of coarse you wouldn’t help me out. I ended up eating the reservation, no thanks to your company. I guess you know I travel at least 14 times a monthly and put on schools another week every month. I had plenty of stress from my wife’s stroke and you only added to it by not helping him me at all. Guess what I will never use your company and if anyone asks I will be sure to tell them how helpful you weren’t. Thanks for nothing.

Hey—did not stay there. They had a no pet policy. We always travel with our 2 Goldendoodles. So, found another hotel. I tried to cancel but was told it was too late. I did not see that they had a “no pet policy”. Would have never made the reservation. So, if you can reimburse us?? And maybe help make the hotel communicate clearer that don’t want pets.
