I booked a 2 Queen bed through Expedia and upon checking in I was assigned a king room. When I went to the front desk, I was told it was booked as a king which was wrong as my Expedia receipt clearly stated 2 queens. Hampton was apparently all out of queen rooms and that’s all they had to offer me. Hampton attempted to rectify the situation by placing a pull out cot in my room. It would’ve been fine if only the cot would fit. The only way the cot would fit is the entryway blocking the access to the bathroom and front door-a clear dangerous obstacle. Overall the hotel is great for a quick overnight stay. The free breakfast a perk, ample parking, and the proximity to downtown Jim Thorpe is the main reason we chose the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if and ONLY if they would give me the room type I originally paid for and chose.

Great stay at Hampton Inn, Lehighten Pa

We were very pleased with Hampton Inn at Lehighten, PA. Staff were very friendly. The pool and hot tub were great. Donna,the breakfast cook took great pride in her work. Breakfast had numerous choices. Housekeeping was provided daily, which is not always true in hotels since Covid. Popcorn, cookies are in the lobby in afternoons and help yourself coffe bar is 24 hours.

Great experience. The staff were SUPER friendly and helpful in every way (including the breakfast staff). The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with soft towels, comfortable beds and bedding, good amenities (including a decent-size fridge and microwave)—the only down side is that it's a bit old/worn out, including an old AC unit that was very noisy. The hotel also had a gym (albeit very basic and small), and a very robust included breakfast!
