The Space:

Tucked among quiet trees, this bright cabin feels especially inviting into the West Virginia mountains. Snow-dusted branches frame the windows, the air is crisp and still, and evenings naturally slow down into long conversations, warm drinks, and time spent soaking under the stars. It’s a peaceful setting where you can truly unplug while staying comfortably connected.



The Space

Recently renovated, the cabin blends a fresh, farmhouse-inspired feel with the calm of a wooded retreat. Large windows bring the outdoors in, whether you’re watching snow drift down or catching a clear night sky. The open living and dining area offers a comfortable place to gather after a day exploring or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon indoors. Fast, reliable WiFi supports streaming and video calls, and a TV lets you sign in to your favorite streaming services with ease.



Sleeping Arrangements

The cabin sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. Each bedroom features a queen bed with soft linens and extra pillows and blankets for nights. The layout works well for couples, friends, or small families looking for a cozy, manageable space.



Kitchen & Everyday Comforts

A fully stocked kitchen gives you the flexibility to prepare meals at your own pace, whether it’s a simple breakfast before heading out or a hearty dinner after a chilly day outdoors. Bathroom essentials are provided, and the full bathroom includes a spacious shower. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays or outdoor adventures that bring a little extra laundry along.



Outdoor Living

The outdoor areas invite you to slow down and enjoy the setting. A deck with a grill provides additional space to step outside, breathe in the forest air, and take in the quiet surroundings.



Pet-Friendly & Practical Details

The cabin is pet-friendly, making it easy to bring your dog along for the getaway. Guests have a private entrance, free parking on the premises, and self check-in via lockbox for a smooth arrival. Safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.



Pet Policy

We’re happy to welcome dogs to join you on your getaway! Please note that due to allergies, we’re unable to accommodate cats. A $29 pet fee applies per furry friend, per night to help cover additional cleaning and care. Thanks for understanding—we look forward to hosting you and your pup!



Longer Stays

For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.

Located within The Woods Resort, you’ll have access to a private community known for its scenic golf course, spa, restaurant, pub, and miles of walking and hiking trails. Beyond the resort, Berkeley Springs and nearby state parks are a short drive away, offering mineral baths, and small-town charm year-round.



Whether you spend your days exploring the mountains or staying in to enjoy the quiet warmth of the cabin, this retreat offers a comfortable base for a relaxed escape in West Virginia.



Note

Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!



We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

This cabin offers its guests a hot tub, barbecue grills, and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Hedgesville cabin is smoke free.
