This hotel is on the University campus. Nice parking at $9. Amazing breakfast. Nice tooms. Bus stop is 10 minute walk. Not much to eat in the area; a pizza place. Lots in town though.

Travelling through the pandemic my stay at the Chester hotel was a very confident experience. The staff where very knowledgeable and decontamination procedures within the hotel where very good. Very big and comfortable room. Very recommended stay if travelling to Heidelberg.

This was an excellent, modern hotel with almost all the facilities a traveller could want. The room was clean and large, the bed was very comfortable, there was a well-equipped gym, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bar was great, as was the restaurant for the buffet breakfast. The only minor quibble we had was the lack of a fridge in our room, and coffee-making facilities. Other than that, it was excellent!

Bordering on rude

The hotel looks impressive when you first walk in but unfortunately for us that feeling didn't last too long. The front desk staff were very efficent but i certainly cant come close to saying friendly. In fact they were bordering on being rude. It was like we were bothing them by checking in. The room itself was your typical hotel room but of good standard. The location is not even close to being central if that is what you are looking for. Its a fair walk to any restaurants or into town or the old town. The wifi was strong and reliable. Next time in Heidelberg we will stay else where simply based on our greeting.
