From checkin to checkout, the DSH was a wonderful stay. It had a rustic charm and was a little creaky, but that's what adds to its charm! The beds are very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was helpful and professional. My friend and I loved the wine tasting room, too. We'll be back!

My wife loved the cappuccino machine and the hotel doesn't charge for it. They have a wine tasting area which is well furnished and immaculate as was the front parlor plus there was nice seating areas to relax on the front porch. If we are ever in Dahlonega again, it would definitely be our first choice. The main square with specialty stores and restaurants and a gold museum was all within walking distance.

We were in Dahlonega for a wedding and this hotel was wonderful. The rooms were big, the bed was comfortable, and it has a delightful front porch where you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine and watch the passers by. It is an easy walk to the square, and everything you would want to get to in this quaint little town. They have wine tasting on-site (which we did), and a game room (which we didn't check out). The staff was easily accessible and helpful. The porch kitty, Ghost, was also a delight. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely hotel and very welcome after a long walk in the morning. The hotel is extremely convenient for the small town of Dahlonega - which itself is pretty and compact. I really slept well here. The only downside is that there are no staff on site until business hours which we hadn't anticipated and we left before anyone arrived. This was solved by a quick call to the out of hours number. I would happily stay there again, it was very comfortable.
