There is ample parking for cars and a boat if needed with secure storage for bikes or kayaks. The cottage has its own delightful private garden with barbecue area and pagoda. It is furnished with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture whilst retaining its period charm. It boasts uninterrupted countryside views from the rear with magical sunrises.

We have just returned after spending a week in this beautiful and comfortable cottage! The cottage has everything that one could wish for in a wonderful location! There were fresh flowers in every room, fresh eggs and some delicious home made cakes waiting for us! Myrtle cottage is delightful and we really hope to return sometime in the future!

Serene location full of character

We really loved Myrtle Cottage which was comfortable with loads of country character. Our hosts went the extra mile to make us feel truly welcome. The area has so many wonderful places to explore, that a week isn’t long enough. I hope to be back at Myrtle Cottage soon.

Characterful cottage on the Lizard Peninsular

We really couldn't fault Myrtle Cottage. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful owners and very well equipped kitchen. We also really appreciated all the little extras from the freshly laid eggs, milk and butter in the fridge, cake and fresh flowers. Thank you Maurice and Barbara. It was really hard to leave!

This cottage is just a hidden gem, I came across it on the internet and found the most wonderful cottage you could imagine. The owners were such nice and genuine people you could wish to meet, helpful and informative about the area. This cottage is ideal for all ages from people who just want to relax to those who want to explore the area. The welcome pack we got was out of this world with cake, eggs, milk and strawberries .
