Enchanted Forest is a newly built, private apartment on 18 acres of unrestricted property. Our neighbors are mostly squirrels, deer and variety of birds although on a rare occasion you can hear a human voice coming from passing roadies calling on each other or locals using the road like a hiking trail. This serene location provides peaceful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere where morning coffee is shared to the sound of chirping birds.

The apartment was built specifically with our family, friends and guests in mind. It has specialty soundproofing that consists of two layers of decoupled drywall separated by sound dampening green glue and dead space filled with soundproofing insulation to provide enhanced privacy. It is fully furnished, and thoughtfully designed to deliver a truly comfortable and relaxing environment with personal finishing touches throughout.

The forest outside the apartment is enchanting and soothing. You can occasionally spot a deer or hear an owl. There are an oversized fire pit surrounded with Adirondack chairs and a hot tub that invites for a relaxing soak after a long hike or a bike ride. A stand to accommodate up to six bikes and basic biking gear and a bike washing station are available after occasionally muddy rides. The patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy some post activity beer or a glass of wine while preparing food on a grill or just immersing yourself in the silence.

To access the apartment, follow an asphalt driveway to a shed where a “Guests” sign will point to a lower gravel driveway on the right. This will lead to a private parking space which can accommodate 2 vehicles. An electric car charger is also available in the area. From there a lit path along the stepping stones and Mexican beach pebbles leads the way to the patio area. The apartment is on the left thru the lit wooden door accessible using a self check-in procedure.

Bedrooms/Sleeping arrangements: There are 2 bedrooms, a Queen and a King. Both beds have memory foam mattresses with luxurious bed linens, and extra pillows and blankets for a customized comfort. There is also a three-seat sofa in the living room where each of the seats unfolds independently offering additional sleeping space.

Ensuite bathrooms feature fluffy towels, bathrobes and radiant heat floors. Essential toiletries and blow dryers for that on the run hair fix are provided.

Living/Kitchen space contrasts contemporary cool grays with warm rustic accents. Stainless steel appliances give the space polished look while handmade maple island/dining table highlights the space with warmth and provides a laptop-friendly workspace in a free Wi-Fi environment. Adjustable height black leather chairs complete the look. If you are planning a longer stay or need to refresh your towels, there are also a washer and a dryer conveniently tucked behind the door next to the kitchen cabinets. With a free YouTube TV access you can still enjoy your favorite shows whether preparing meals in the kitchen or relaxing on a deep seating sofa in the living room. A rustic console behind the sofa, a matching coffee table, and a blanket ladder complete the look while river birch branches by the tv make for a nice finishing touch.


THINGS TO NOTE:

Rental Agreement:
Guests will be emailed a detailed Rental Agreement with House Rules and Policies which will need to be completed and signed before access is permitted. House Manual along with check-out procedures will be available upon your arrival.

Access:
Guests will be able to access the property using a keyless lock on the front door. The access code will be provided before arrival. Guests have access to the grounds in front of the Apartment stretching from the parking area to the opposite side of the house which includes Fire Pit and Hot Tub except land to the west of the house that is clearly marked "Private Area" and the staircase that leads to the upper deck.

During your stay:
We live quietly above the apartment w/our dog. The space below has been specialty soundproofed to make you feel comfortable and to ensure your privacy. You will be given plenty of space but we will be happy to assist you in making your stay more memorable. For help or with any questions, you can reach us by phone, text or email. Also feel free to stop by and say hi if you'd like, we would love to meet you!

Pets on property:
We have a full of energy and very friendly Wirehair Vizsla. Should her occasional presence be a bother or make you feel uncomfortable, please let us know.

Min age of a booking person is 30yo. We reserve the right to request your ID w/DOB when onsite and cancel your reservation should there be lack of transparency; The space is not suitable for children.

Fire Pit:
Using the Fire Pit is solely dependent on weather conditions and burning fire may not be allowed if they are too dry. Detailed Rules of using the Fire Pit will be provided with House Agreement
High Structure:
Fire Pit is partially surrounded by a dry stack stone wall. Please do not lean, sit, climb or attempt to walk on it.

Hot Tub:
The Hot Tub may not be available on the day of your arrival if the guests turnaround is less than 24 hrs; Hot Tub usage is solely at your own risk; Detailed Rules of using the Hot Tub will be provided with House Agreement

Furniture
Please, do not climb on or move any furniture except for the coffee table in the living room which can be repositioned in order to unfold the sleeper sofa.

Furnishings/Equipment:
Please, make a note that everything in the apartment is inventoried. Should you grab something by mistake we request that you send it back to us to avoid unnecessary charges.

To avoid any additional charges, please, make sure that:

* leave everything exactly how you found it and
* do not cause any damages.
