An amazing waterfront home on Jimmie's Creek. The perfect lake house with lots of space. The huge master suite is on the main level which includes an open family room and newly renovated kitchen. There are two large bedrooms upstairs w/full baths and another full bath downstairs w/ a large bonus room. There is an awesome bar in the basement with a space to relax. There are no bridges, and the cove has a "NO WAKE" zone so great for swimming and floating with kids. Boat dock and deep-water access makes for great memories on the lake.
During your stay at this vacation home, you're just a quick walk from Lake Gaston. You'll find features like laundry facilities. The vacation home offers a kitchen and 3.5 bathrooms.

Boat must only be tied to the dock, renters are not approved to use any of the lifts. All external lights must be cut off by 1100 pm

Exterior trashcan must be pulled to the end of the driveway by the road prior to departure and any trash that will not fit must be dropped off site.

Needs some cleaning but good place

Overall, we did have a great stay! It’s not the cleanest but we didn’t actually realize that until departure when cleaning up. Under every bed was trash that wasn’t ours (candy wrappers, empty soap boxes, leftover power cords from previous renters). The master bathroom toilet constantly ran and leaked. The basement bedroom has leakage spots in the ceiling. What we did like was the layout of the house! The upgraded kitchen and living room. I would also recommend updating pictures. There isn’t a swing on the dock anymore. There are cobwebs all over the dock that just need to be cleaned up. After a deep clean and some maintenance issues, this place would be a fantastic place to stay!

We enjoyed our time at the VRBO We loved having the dock within walking distance from the house as well as room in the house for 2 families and 2 young children . However there were some things you may want to address When we arrived we found the oven unclean and the grills sticky to the touch, the toaster oven needed cleaning as the trays had food on them The Keurig and the tray beneath the. Coffee cup had coffee and mold spores .The Mr coffee had coffee left in the pot and the basket needed cleaning. We found a serving tray that was broken maybe by a previous guest. The toilet in the master bedroom was leaking and in the basement the sink behind the bar leaks into the lower cabinet. In one of the upstairs bedrooms there was an outlet with exposed wiring. The shower door tracks had mold and the entire home could benefit from a deep cleaning

Perfect getaway

We are a group of 9 that were in town for a baseball tournament in Roanoke Rapids. The house was a quick 25 minutes to the ball field. While the rest of the team was crammed around a hotel pool, we were relaxing in the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kitchen was spacious to cook and had all necessary supplies and even spices. When our tournament ran late, the owners were super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake house

My mother passed away and I returned her back home to Gaston to be buried. House was large enough to accommodate all family members and super clean. Check in was easy and all questions were answered right away..Taking one less thing off my shoulders..definitely 5 stars

Cozy Cove

This was a wonderful place to stay. Tucked away on a peaceful cove, the house is situated in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood which was perfect for our family getaway. Very clean and spacious too.
