The Toyoko Inn was a great place to stay. Very convenient. Close to the train station, dining options and shopping. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Rooms were small but usable. Bathroom was small. The only downside for us was that the beds were very firm and we would have preferred something more soft.

The hotel is close to a train station but not the train station we arrived at. Breakfast bufdet was more Japanese style. The hotel was 6 miles away from my train station and taxi fare was $35-$40. The beds are hard not fluffy mattress. The room was small. However, it was still comfortable. I would still consider consider the hotel.

There are several 24hrs convenient stores and super markets around the hotel which is good. Staff does not really speak nor understand English, but they are willing to help. However, the breakfast time is very short, which is offered within 0630-0900 only. What is more, you can barely hear people’s footsteps outside the room. I think this is not a choice for those who are hard to get sleep when hearing noises.

Fabulous hotel with ridiculous check-in policy

Absolutely great hotel , everything was great except one aspect , which we found extremely odd and not customer focused at all. We arrived 3 hours before check in time, (4pm) , although our room was ready, no doubt and certainly after 3pm when we saw all the cleaning staff left as a team , we had to wait in the lobby 3 hours. We totally understand that thats policy room check in from 4pm , and that if we belonged to the Tokyo inn Club we could of , as other we saw did , check in from 3pm , but being forced to wait 3 hours after travelling since 8pm the day beforehand was extremely difficult. So we offered reception to pay more to get earlier access to the room , but this too was refused, thats the part we really dont understand., if we paid extra why couldn't we check-in earlier? Anyway we literally counted down the minutes and seconds and exactly at 4pm we wwre allowed to go to our room.

フロントの受付の方は親切でした 喫煙可のお部屋だったから仕方ないのかもしれないですが、たばこ臭くて、咳込んで寝られませんでした😰換気扇を､はじめから強にしておいてくださるか、空気清浄機を付けてくださると良いなと感じました。土曜日の予約でどうしても宿泊したかったのでやむおえませんが今は禁煙か喫煙所がお部屋の外にある所しか宿泊したことなかったので。
