Was ideal as an overnight stay after visiting the theatre. Room was comfy and clean but found it quite noisy through the night with heavy steps and talking. Easy parking and check in. The location of abbey lodge was great, only a few minutes walk into town. Handy for restaurants and shopping. It was a short drive to get to the rural areas which we enjoyed walking. We booked a twin room which was much bigger than the doubles we saw. It was bang for your buck!
