Aloha!
We are Keone and Yonnell Farias. We were both born and raised here on this wonderful island. We welcome you to our beautiful new home and would be happy to share with you our favorite places. Located in a quiet neighborhood of Waiakea Uka, we are a short 10-minute ride from the airport, 35 minutes to the Volcano, and just a few minutes from local grocery stores and eateries!
Waiākea Uka is translated as "the mountainside" of Waiākea. There are beautiful views of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa mountain. The University of Hawaii at Hilo is located in the Waiākea district as well. There are parks and convenience stores within walking distance to the house but a car would be more suitable.
Our house is your home away from home.
We want you to feel at home during your stay. We also respect your privacy. The keypad entry allows you to come and go at your convenience. We live nearby and are only a call or text away for any questions, suggestions, and housekeeping needs you may have.

We loved our stay - beautiful, newer home with all the amenities we needed. The location was super convenient to visit family in the area, and the hosts were fantastic (and very understanding when we forgot to leave the garage door opener - luckily we got it back). We traveled with our adult kids so we really enjoyed the space to spread out. This home is very nice. The beds were comfortable and even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Quiet Location

This was a great stay for my father and I on a trip to see the Volcanos and Mauna Kea. We were there for two nights and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet place to stay. With the windows open, you could hear the birds which was nice when compared to a hotel. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

The property was exactly as advertised. The check-in was easy and check out was even better. The owner allowed us to keep our bags in the garage after check out so we could explore more of Hilo since our flight was later in the day. I would recommend this home without hesitation.
