Upon arriving, I was notified that Expedia booked me a handicapped room. Also, another fee was added. A $10 incidental fee after Expedia assured me there were no other fees. Very disappointed.

Awful Awful Awful. I come to Hilton Head Island every year for the Concours Car Show and usually stay at the Simple Rewards Inn, an older motel nearby. This year I thought I would treat myself to an upgrade and stay at the Hampton Inn. I’ve been a Hilton Rewards member for over 30 years and in all that time I have never seen such a poor example of a Hilton Brand hotel. It’s an older two story motel in serious need of renovation. The first clue was the elevator. It was so dusty I immediately began to sneeze and my eyes started burning. I can’t imagine that the elevator shaft had ever been cleaned or the fan filter replaced. A dirty elevator is the first clue of a poorly maintained property. The room was nice enough and the bed was comfortable but the windows were filthy like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Again that only minimal maintenance is being done. This Inn is just not up to Hampton Inn standards. My suggestion would be to tear it down and build a proper Hampton Inn & Suites. Jack Baldwin. Our room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. I think there should be a towel rack in the bathroom because there was no place to hang up a towel. That's my only complaint. The omelet they served was light and fluffy.

Room was noisy and directly over the main entrace automatic door. Each time it opened and closed it made a noise from late night and early am. Very annoying. The room was musty spelling as well. Building exterior seemed to need paint and repairs. I frequent Hilton Head but won’t be returning at this hotel.

My wife and I drove down to South Carolina to see our son graduate from the Marines. Our hotel was located in Hilton Head which was very nice and had plenty of shopping also the drive wasn't too far from restaurants. If going to watch your child graduate from the Marines beware that this location is about a 45 minutes to an hour drive from Parris Island depending on traffic. We had read the reviews and people were saying that it was 15 minutes from Parris Island and that's because they have another hotel which is very close to Parris Island but either way the stay ended up being very nice. The hotel was really clean and the breakfast was amazing and the customer service was top-notch. Each and every day no matter who was at the front desk they were always pleasant and gave us advice and directions to places nearby. Another thing even though the hotel was pet friendly everything was so quiet and peaceful at all times. Check out was really easy and everything went great. Also I want to thank also want to thank hotels.com for such a great place to stay at a budget price. If you're on a budget this is definitely the place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

Property is dated and felt like a old motel just with hampton inn decor. The furniture and carpets were worn down and needs replacement. The pool area looked old and dirty. multiple areas were flooded on top a drain.
