We had an excellent visit to this unit in St. Andrews Commons, Palmetto Dunes Resort, HHI during an extended holiday weekend! The unit is spacious, super clean, nicely appointed and decorated; the photos are accurate but do not really show how lovely the accommodations are. We enjoyed several personal touches which made us feel as though we were staying in a home, not a rental property: soft and colorful bedding, plenty of colorful and plush bath and pool towels, detailed instructions for how to use the media and WIFI, helpful labels on light switches and kitchen cabinets. The kitchen had all of the appliances and utensils that we needed, including a handy magnetic bottle opener on the side of the fridge. :) The accent walls in each room made the space feel very homey; there was so much room and lots of available storage in the rooms and bath areas. Many beach-related items were available to use. The hosts were easy to contact and responded quickly to all questions which we asked prior to our stay. There was no need to contact them while visiting because everything was so easy to find/use. The complex is nicely situation in the best resort on the island. We enjoyed the beach every day, ate at the Dunes House a few times, and took a short walk on the pedestrian trail to the July 4th fireworks show in Shelter Cove Marina (shows are also held weekly in the summer). It was a pleasure to stay in Priya and David's home, and we look forward to returning some day!
