Didn’t have great expectations after reading some reviews but overall was happy with my stay! Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was very nice. Close to everywhere we needed to go. My only complain was that the hairdryer was missing but no big deal for me. We’d stay there again!

The front staff was awful. Rude, and very unwelcoming. There are lots of hotel options on the area and I will definetly pick a different hotel in the future. Maybe some customer service training should be done. Also, you might want to hire people that care about the guests and not so much about a paycheck to pay for drgs and alcohol expenses for themselves. I travel a lot and I am terminally ill. I just wanted to have a short getaway for myself and my Grandaughter while I still can.

negatives--only 1 chair in the room, only one side of the bed had a night table and lamp, no de-humidifier in the room until we asked for one the next morning after arrival. But the staff were responsive and friendly.

This is a honest and fair review. I stayed at Hotel Carolina for 2 nights. The check experience was good, the outside of the property was dirty. It needs a good pressure cleaning, especially the stairs. My room did have a weird sour smell. The actual room was actually decent. No complaints on the room other than the wet mildew smell. They do have humidifiers in the room which does help. You have to empty the water tray once it reaches 90 but they didn’t tell me that. My stay was 250.00 and compared to other hotels in the area this one met my budget. If they could clean the outside and get the weird smell from the rooms I would stay again.
