We were slightly apprehensive of the distance of the hotel from the station and city centre however, we were so pleased to have booked this hotel. This hotel is at a beautiful location with wonderful seaside walks nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite room which gave us ample space, a bath with a view and a beautiful room. The onsen was clean and well organised. The breakfast buffet provided multiple options of western and Japanese food. The staff were friendly and courteous. The boat to miyajima was extremely convenient as well as the bus from and to the station. This stay was by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

The room was gross. Brown stains on the wall, clearly hadn't been maintained at all. Garbage under our bed from the previous people, everything was in poor condition. Our fridge in the room didn't work. For the price of the room, it was ridiculous

Clean hotel by the ocean

The hotel offers a fantastic view on the bay. There are 3 restaurants, but none of them were appealing to us. There was nothing at walking distance. The breakfast was good, but we couldn't find good coffee. We were pleased with the staff, but many of them seem to be very stressed, and under a lot of pressure. I witnessed staff being reprimanded twice. The staff all spoke good English, and the hotel was clean, but it could use a bit of a refresh.

Absolutely superb hotel to stay in! Free shuttle from the train station and ferry to Miyajima straight outside the hotel. Spacious room, so comfortable. Best breakfast ever! G7 Summit had been held here in 2023. The price was brilliant...we had paid similar the past week in Japan for far less standards.

From check in to check out the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and hospitable. Our room was super spacious with lots of room to move around in addition to a large shower, separate tub, with an additional area with sink mirror and stool. Beds were comfortable, however, my twin bed was softer and lower in the middle resulting in me always ending up in the middle. Top floors have restaurants with excellent views and slightly inflated prices for drinks. There is a sea wall surrounding most of the property that allows for a safe and tranquil stroll along the bay. The free shuttle to and from Hiroshima Station is beneficial and convenient as the hotel is located at the end of a small peninsula which means you need to walk at least 20 mins to get to the edge if the city, main streets, or trains. We really enjoyed our two night stay with the room size being the biggest plus right along with the staff and their welcoming, helpful pleasant presence.

Family trip to Hiroshima

Fancy looking hotel and good value, but the onsite dining is very expensive. Breakfast is good if you include in room rate. Best to eat in town and then get bus to hotel. City bus is every 20-30 mins to hotel (21-2 line) which is easy for station , shops etc. last one is about 2030 so take care of that. Beach and seaside looks good but very polluted with polystyrene from fishing floats so not nice for swimming.

Family trip in Hiroshima and Miyajima

Very nice hotel, slightly far away from the city Center, but with a beautiful quiet location and amazing vistas especially at sunset. It’s rather pricey and dinning nearby is limited to hotel restaurants only, which were quite expensive. Nevertheless, we had a great 2-nights stay, in a spacious family room with great sea view, large bathroom with bathtub looking at the bay, very clean, comfortable beds, the room furniture was a little outdated. The hotel has direct boats to Miyajima which was very convenient for our planned 1-day trip to the island.

The hotel has a super nice view, the breakfast is good but the room we stayed in ( 9th floor) was really old and the facilities like chairs and tables in the restaurant were old and used too. They charge you extra for the onsen and the pool (2000/3000 yen) and the pool is not open any more at the beginning of September.
