Hotel is near a lot of shops in the city and centrally located. It is on a very busy street with a lot of small shops that make it hard to find and hard to get in and out of during the day if you are calling a Grab to and from here for the airport. Otherwise we really enjoyed the friendly staff. Breakfast is small but has everything you need from coffee, pastries, fresh fruit and noodles of the day! Updated bathroom in family suite was very nice!

Loved my stay at Hato. The location was walkable to district 1, and the staff were going above and beyond to make your stay amazing. They opened door, helped with luggage, walked you to your room, etc. Highly recommended.

The location of this hotel is super convenient for all main tourist attractions- all walkable. The hotel itself is generally fairly clean and nice enough although the street that it is located on might not be to everyone's taste as there is a market which can cause some strong smells & noise. The breakfast area/rooftop coffee shop is nice and the breakfast provided is ok- nothing amazing though. The hotel walls are super thin so might not suit light sleepers. I requested that my room is not cleaned for most of my stay (as I am not particularly messy and prefer not having someone come in), however, from doing this I identified how dirty the room/hotels A/C system was. During my stay I often felt my eyes watering and my skin feeling really dry when I was in the hotel. I also woke up on 2 occasions with my chest feeling bad. At the time I thought it might be me not reacting well to the water and just getting sick, however, upon checking out I noticed how much dust was on the wall/door frame right where the A/C hit. This really needs to be cleaned as I now know that it caused discomfort during my stay. Had I noticed earlier I would have raised this with the staff, as I didnt, I cant comment on whether anything would have been done. All staff here was super kind an friendly and really made me feel welcome here. I would like to give a special mention to Tyson for always being happy and being helpful and also for once running up the entrance stairs just to open the door for me!

Comfortable oasis room in the bustling city

A great central location for exploring. There is a street market right outside the front which is interesting. It was also the view from my window but there was very little noise. There is a good breakfast on offer and the room was very comfortable and clean. Maybe a few more clothes hangers needed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.Overall a very pleasant stay.

The staff here are incredible - helpful and kind. The rooms are updated and kept very clean. It was a great stay for my little family of 3. Rooms were quiet for our son to sleep through the night. Breakfast is limited, but lots of fresh fruit and veggies to make it worthwhile. Location is top-notch for downtown vacationing.

The street it is on is very busy, basically filled with street vendors, mostly street food, rather dirty, the hotel lobby smelled of sewer as did the room, we were on the street side so not sure if that had anything to do with it? Some times the smell was worse than other times, the room was extremely small for two people on a month long vacation, just no where to put anything, on the plus side, the staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was so so, coffee always just warm, they had passion fruit in a cooler but didn’t bring it out even when I asked for some 😩

Tugged in a used to be an old market this location is just perfect to explore the nearby attractions, good resautants, shopping centres by walking. The hotel staffs are a bunch of young energetic, enthusiastic, friendly people. The room is clean, quiet and the rooftop cafe is a perfect view to the city. The breakfast buffet is also very good with many choices for everyone. One last thing is this location is not too far from the airport and if you book the transportation to the airport with the hotel, they would take care of it nicely.

Very nice staff from reception - room services - and kitchen. So convenient for walking around to Ben Thanh market - Opera house - Nguyen Hue walking street - Saigon center and Takashimaya shopping Mall - Saigon tourist and viettravel area close by distance 10-13 minutes by walk .
