Had to book this in last minute due to long delay of my flight from Danang. After reaching the place as given by them, they kept in a different property saying that the property I booked is already filled. Asked me again to relocate to different property next day due to which we have to pack the luggage once again. Had a very bad experience as it wasted my lot of our time. What i undesired from my experience is, irrespective of the availability they just accept and try to accommodate based on the available flats they have at different properties they have

Mi experiencia en este hotel fue negativa. Al llegar, intentaron cambiarnos de apartamento a otro edificio en un distrito diferente, en un claro intento de estafa. Afortunadamente, un amigo vietnamita nos ayudó y se nos asignó un apartamento en el mismo edificio, aunque la limpieza dejaba mucho que desear. Además, al hacer el check-out intentaron quedarse con la fianza. No lo recomendaría.

Ben Thanh Inn is a cozy hotel with 2 rooms per floor. The check-in process at the front desk was easy and payment can be made with card or cash. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the famous landmarks in Saigon such as the Opera House, Nguyen Hue walking street, and Ben Thanh Market. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean with comfortable mattresses and great air conditioning. Free strong wifi is provided and I had no issues with connectivity.

We really liked the locality and the fact that the homestay was situated on a narrow side street. It was quite quiet but very close to a busy street with a lot of places where we could try local dishes. We also got a lot of great recommendations for restaurants and eateries.

An was a lovely host and recommended the greatest places to eat. The room was exactly like the photos and the airconditioning worked great. Location is in the middle of the street food district which we loved and close enough to destrict one that we could walk there. Would definitely recommend!

Apartment was fine enough for a short-term rental. Our main issue was that accessing the pool was a pain since it required the suite owner to check us in at the pool each time we wanted to use it, meaning they had to actuallycome to the pool and sign us in before the guard would let us use it. We were also informed that the pool was only open until 5:00, which was inconvenient since most tours etc didn’t finish before that. Otherwise, I had booked the location thinking it was just across a short bridge to the downtown core not realizing that crossing the bridge would be so unpleasant due to the insane traffic in the city (in Vietnam, really). It’s a far cry from strolling over a bridge in, say, Paris, so set your expectations accordingly.
