Great Location. Comfortable Budget Digs.

Great location in HCMC! Close to all amenities. We stayed in 203. Quiet room. Comfortable beds. Front desk staff Jack, Jane & Cody more than made up for the tired rooms. They were friendly and very helpful! Would recommend for those looking for quality budget accommodation. Our stay was prearranged with a cycling group.

Friendly staff, nice environment, yummy breakfast

The hotel manager and staff are very friendly, hotel manager recommended the great travel route for us and nice food. They also prepare hot and fresh breakfast for us in the morning, there are scramble egg, toast bread, bacon..Me and my friends can't forget how nice the breakfast are. The location is great too, if not mistaken across the main street there is a food street and art market every weekend..

Great stay :)

Loved the design of the hotel, clean, modern, minimal but beautiful! Good breakfast with a different menu every day and free tea/coffee by the reception all day long! Great location, 5mins walk from everything.. shops, bars, restaurants and 30mins drive from the airport.

Deluxe room NO

Stayed in a lot of different rooms in our travels from Hanoi to Saigon. For a deluxe room there was no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. If staying here just stay in a standard room same facilities. Going back in 6 months, found a better appointed room in another hotel for my stay at a better price.

Backpacker hotel

The staff are super helpful. The room I had could use a new coat of paint, but had some old world charm to this place. Good breakfast. Quiet during the night. The building across the street is under construction, so that is a temporary annoyance during the day. A solid hostel type hotel.

A home away from home <3

The hotel is located on a small alley, so it may be difficult to find for the 1st time but it's close to most of the main attractions in the city. Despite the strategic location, it's not noisy at all at night so a good rest is guaranteed. All of the staffs are friendly and helpful, speak English very well and always smile warmly!

Value for money!

Tripwriter was an unexpected, but pleasant stay! Great for a weekend getaway, the location is also very convenient-- although close to the backpacker area, the street itself was very quiet and quaint. Very cute cafe within the hotel premises. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends! Most definitely staying here again for our next trip to Ho Chi Minh.

Tripwriter is the best budget hotel in Saigon. It's located in the backpackers district and full of style. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.
