Cascade Cottage, circa 1840, is beautifully updated and pairs heritage charm with modern comfort. Recently renovated, it offers warm, light-filled living spaces and considered finishes throughout, creating an inviting base just minutes from Hobart’s CBD.

Positioned close to the Hobart Rivulet walking trails and some of the city’s favourite cafés and coffee spots, the location is as appealing as the home itself.

The cottage features two bright, cosy bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a bathroom with a bath perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. Additional conveniences include a laundry and air-conditioning.

Outside, the private courtyard is a leafy oasis, packed with trees that create a tranquil atmosphere. A lock-up garage is a rare bonus in the area, offering secure parking. The sunny backyard is perfect for relaxing, dining, or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

From Cascade Cottage, you’re perfectly placed to explore Hobart’s highlights: take a scenic drive up Mount Wellington, visit the historic Cascade Brewery, or wander the waterfront, Salamanca Market, and Hobart’s vibrant dining and bar scene, all just minutes away.

Getting Around: Located just minutes from Hobart CBD, the cottage offers easy access by car, bike or on foot. The Hobart Rivulet Track is nearby for a scenic walk or ride into the city. A lock-up garage provides secure off-street parking, with additional free street parking available out on the back street - if you're lucky. Public transport is also available along Cascade Road.
