I stayed 8 nights at the Grand Chancellor hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to requests. We stayed around Christmas time and received Christmas Card and gifts for the children. Such a nice personal touch for a festive time away from home. Location is excellent, walking distance to museums, ferries and pick up for day tours. The Tasman Restaurant served excellent food. We dined there for numerous dinners and the complex flavours were well designed and delivered, hat off to the chef.
