It is a very well maintained property and close to shops and petrol stations. Easy walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in Hobart central.

We stayed at St Ives on 2 separate occasions within a fortnight, and consistently enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the tea/coffee supplies are plentiful. The rooms are spacious and sound proofed. The location is excellent for a stroll through the historic area of Battery Point or a short walk down to the bars and restaurants in Salamanca. The only negative is the exterior of the building, the reception area and stairwells could benefit from a paint and being revamped.

Unfortunately getting a good nights sleep was impossible as every morning between 4-6am the bin truck came and emptied the rubbish
Additionally the fridge in our room stunk - not particularly appealing to put food in. But it did the job we needed it to for a quick stay,
I had a hire car and it was great there was complimentary parking onsite for guests. The property had a kitchenette and fridge which was handy to make some meals and cable channels tv for viewing when we were in the room and also complimentary wi-fi.The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay there again.
I would rate high for space, quiet, cooking facilities, fridge size, clean but mattresses are often indented and need replacing.

The unit was well designed, tastefully furnished and quite comfortable, with a two story design that allowed for a spacious open area and functional kitchen, with the second level containing the two sufficiently large bedrooms and a bathroom. On site laundry was a definite plus and the complimentary laundry detergent was much appreciated. The unit was within walking distance to most Hobart Attractions and the staff was first class; professional, friendly and courteous. We clearly enjoyed our four day visit and would gladly stay at St. Ives again.
Really enjoyable stay! The staff were exemplary and so friendly. Woolies was a 10 min walk away and there were many dining options nearby which was handy.
The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

Very clean and tidy. The kitchenette had all of the basic equipment we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We were happy to be within walking distance of Salamanca Place and Hobart city.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Early check in. Wonderful location and excellent bed, linen and large kitchenette, we cooked everyday with lovely fresh ingredients. Definitely stay again!
Great position. Nice walk into city, Salamanca Markets, Battery Point and Sandy Bay. No road noise. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Would definitely stay there again.
