Apartment unit was perfect for our stay, generous in size and modern along with being clean and tidy. Enjoyed our 2night stay. Super friendly staff and I hear right by the Wild food festival area. Easy walk/ride to town.

Its really a premium accommodation, home away from home. We booked a quadraple studio room and got upgraded to an apartment - thank you! Super clean and look brand new, with a spa tub too! We dont want to leave! We know where to stay next time we are back.

The room was lovely and clean with plenty of room for the two of us. The kitchen was small but well equipped with everything we needed. The room was very quiet with no noise from adjoining rooms. The only negative was the parking. There was not a lot of room to maneuver, especially when all of the rooms were full.

Claiming that I as an international traveler didn’t have internet because I didn’t pay for it was wrong (west coast of southern NZ). There is no internet connection driving through the mountains. Calling me rude for suggesting a more efficient check-in procedure for arriving at the place late ( less than 1hour) to ensure getting the room I paid in a 15+ unit facility and telling me that it could have been rented to another customer is not customer oriented who paid USD 150 for the night. When I booked I was not informed about the room number and due to the drive I could not check my email. Worst experience for check-in in NZ.

The room was super clean and well looked after, which made our stay really comfortable. Getting a bottle of milk at check-in was a nice surprise and perfect for making coffee or tea in the room. Highly recommend this accommodation if you’re heading to Hokitika !

Room was very clean and a little kitchen was just enough for a short stay. Very quiet when you in the room, no foot sound or next room customers voice. Only one thing disappointed was hair dryer has been dusty and sticky. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. We definitely would love to come back again!

This was our favourite hotel during our 2 week trip. First, the location is fantastic and just a 5 min drive to the beach and shorter into town. Second, the rooms are fantastic! Everything was practical and well thought through. It was well ventilated and also had all the amenities we needed, plus everything was clean! Last, and what brought everything together is Phil and (I belive) his family who runs this place. He was friendly, accommodating, offered to help with our luggage, and even suggested to visit the wonderful park opposite the street. He even mentioned a free glow worm site but unfortunately we were unable to go for this. I would recommend this motel without reservation, especially if you need a pit stop before driving to Christchurch, though I wished we had stayed longer. Really love what Phil is doing with this place!
