Pool not working

Property was clean and tidy. Welcomed when we showed up then informed the pool wasnt operational. We booked this stay several months before our stay and it was obvious the pool was never set up this year. We chose this property for the pool. After our stay we inquired about getting a partial refund as it cost us more than other properties to stay for 2 nights. We were told the pool isnt the main attraction of the property yet the first picture on the ad shows the pool and it is talked about throughout the listing. When we inquired about a partial refund we were given a very small refund. That didnt even cover the extra $ we had to pay for "extra guests " wich were our kids and it states the property sleeps 4 or 5. We have never been charged an extra fee for our children until this rental. Overall the stay was decent and it wasnt too far of a drive to Acadia National Park. If we would have been informed of the pool not being operational before our stay we would have canceled as that was the only requirement from my wife and kids on what property we wanted.

Wonderful get-away

This apartment was even better than we expected. Kim thought of everything we might need and provided it. Bed was comfortable and everything was spotless and in good condition. Highly recommend. About an hour drive from Acadia.

Rural Getaway

I scheduled a “rest day” here in the middle of our jam packed vacation and this property was perfect. We were able to make breakfast and relax by the pool. Our hosts were tremendously helpful in ensuring we had a lovely time.

Although we only stayed for one night on our way to Acadia, Kim and Dan were fantastic! Everything about the stay was excellent including response time, kindness, suggestions on sights, and Acadia tips. The kitchenette was perfect, beds were comfortable, hot water was actually hot, and the remoteness allowed for a peaceful rest and absolutely beautiful overlook of the property. We highly recommend Kim and Dans place while in the area.

4 retired teachers off to see Maine!

The house on Bald Mountain was clean and lovely and The pictures were accurate. But the best things were the owners, Kim and Dan, who occupy the house above you. They were eager to see that your stay was excellent. They greeted us when we came and when wish us safe travels when we left. They gave us directions and suggestions for our stat. They tried in every way to accommodate all our requests and as teachers you know we asked a lot of them. We were happy people and They were gracious, helpful owners who wished us safe travels when we left.

Clean and comfy…loved it.

Everything was as described/pictured and had all you need, especially for two adults. Super clean and everything in working order. Perfect for a “home base” to come back to after a day of enjoying the area. Hosts are on site and awesome. Helped us find the perfect lobster roll and great advice about accessing the park. Would definitely recommend!
