A relaxing vacation at Our Heels in the Sand awaits you. Right on the beach and less than a mile away from Surf City’s center you won’t find yourself with the problem of being bored. Keep your family entertained in the sand or in the midst of shopping and great eats.

The covered porch overlooking the beach just might be where you spend the majority of your time. Whether you’re sipping on morning coffee or an afternoon beverage during a break from the sun, the sight and sound of the rolling ocean will always be right there to accompany you.

Come on in to the living room in the evenings to sit back with the family and watch a movie or let the lively conversations carry you deep in to the night. Just behind the main living area is a quaint spot that is perfect for those who can’t put down that summer beach read. Two separate areas with comfy chairs are just right for helping you unwind.  When dinner time comes around, cooking will be simple and quick in the convenient kitchen right behind the living area. The dining table is right in the kitchen so everyone can gather to help prepare those fresh seafood meals and then sit down to eat together!

Completing this floor is a spacious and colorful sunroom on the street side where the fun can continue any time day or night. There is plenty you can do here, including playing a board game or simply enjoying a lively conversation. Be sure to catch a sunset from the sunroom during your stay. The show begins every night!

This vacation house is located approximately .7 miles south of the Surf City high rise bridge. You'll be close to shops, restaurants, Surf City Pier and more in the heart of the Island. Be sure to visit some local attractions such as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum, which tells the story of our island's past.
