Step off the covered patio directly onto white sand — no stairs, no crossing parking areas, no hauling gear. Valhalla Downstairs is a ground-level Gulf-front unit in Holmes Beach where the September 2025 renovation left no surface untouched. Guests who returned after 8 consecutive years described the experience as unchanged in the ways that matter and transformed in every other way.

The remodel removed walls to create open sightlines from the bedrooms through the living room to the Gulf-facing windows — you can see the water from your bed. Modern LVP flooring throughout. Recessed LED lighting. Gray shaker kitchen with geometric floral backsplash, white quartz countertops, and stainless appliances including a dishwasher added specifically at guest request. Eat-in dining with Gulf views.

The covered patio has composite decking, exposed wood beams, yellow Adirondack chairs, a woven bistro dining set, and a charcoal grill. Morning dolphin shows from the patio. Spectacular sunsets. A full-size washer and dryer is now inside the unit in a dedicated laundry room with beach gear storage — another guest-requested upgrade that makes extended stays genuinely practical.

Two bedrooms sleep six. The primary has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The living room gray sofa converts to a queen sleeper. One full bathroom with frameless glass shower and LED-lit mirror. Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. High-speed WiFi. Central AC.

Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, and the free island trolley are all within walking distance.

One small pet is welcome with a $150 non-refundable fee. Direct beach access makes morning dog walks genuinely easy.

Valhalla Downstairs requires a one-week minimum stay with parking for two vehicles.

Host was very attentive! The unit was decorated so nicely. My husband likes to fish on the shore, they had a convenient outside hose to rinse things after a day at the beach. I loved that they had a cordless vacuum to easily keep the floors clean. Used it really often. Very nice big shower. Comfortable king bed. Plenty of beach chairs. I would go there every year if I could afford it. The bedroom was tight but they have a dresser and closet and worked fine. We were there for two weeks.

My friend and i stayed in the downstairs unit and it was great! Immaculate and furnished nicely, although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was nicely stocked with all kinds of dishes and cookware. The sunsets from the private beach are breathtaking, too!!

My two week stay was awesome, wish it would have been longer. Beautiful area of Holmes beach, step out the door and the beach is right there. Clean white sand and beautiful water. We were impressed how comfortable the beds were along with the comfy pillows. Definitely coming back to such a cozey beach house . 🏝

We had an awesome time on AMI. We loved the downstairs Valhalla. This place is in a wonderful location and right near several places for all your needs. The house is right on the beach. Never had to put our shoes on the first time. Step off the porch and your in the sand! Would stay here again!

Beautiful location

This house was perfect for my family. We have 4 kids ages 9,5,4,2. This place easily fit us all with the pullout couch. They have updated some of the furniture than what is pictured! The location is perfect and within walking distance to anything you could need! Beach was stunning! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Walk out to beach - perfect. Able to connect with family. Only 1bathroom was a challenge. Hand washing dishes had not planned but not a big deal. Walking distance to anything needed including ice cream shops. Oh construction next door was never mentioned.

Comfortable rental with a great view

The 2 bedroom rental was clean and comfortable, and had a great view from the front deck. There are a few things that were a bit negative, no dishwasher, the washer/dryer were rusted and accessed by outside door, and footsteps of people upstairs were quite loud. However, we still had a great time!

Great location, right on the most beautiful beach. Walking distance to shopping, dining. Golf cart is a must 🙂 House very comfortable, quiet. Would love to go back. We had an issue with accessing the property in the middle of the night. The keyless entry provided did not work. After reaching the on call person we were informed that they had issue with the lock and we need to pick up a key at the office. No one checked on us, when we dropped the keys at the office the staff was not interested In who we are, where we stayed, etc. No customer service.

You can't get a better view or beach. Kitchen and bathroom great. Bedroom carpet in desperate need of replacement as were kitchen chair cushions. Dish drainer disgusting. Need to go outside to get to laundry room which was in need of cleaning.

Do not hesitate to stay here. Accommodations are OK, but this spot on the beach and Island are amazing! And FYI, make sure you look in to and reserve you "Beach Buggie" a few weeks in advance to arriving.

I stayed at this property with my family, with grown kids 20 and 30. We had an amazing time. This property has everything you need for your stay. The location is top notch. We’ve stayed on AMI 9-10 times, it is our favorite place in Fl., this property was the best by far. Hoping to visit again soon.🌝🌴🐳
