1 Railway Cottages is a beautifully furnished, contemporary holiday home on a secluded development in the heart of the gorgeous Georgian town of Holt. A minute walk from the many amenities, and perfectly positioned to enjoy a woodland walk at Holt Country Park, you can also catch a heritage steam train to the neighbouring picturesque villages, or access the stunning, sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast by car. This hideaway is the ideal spot for discovering Norfolk, all year round.
Modern, open-plan living doesn't get much better than this; the ground floor has underfloor heating throughout and the well-equipped kitchen opens out into the dining area. A sunny, spacious sitting room spills onto the enclosed courtyard via french doors. The first floor has three bedrooms (two with king-size beds - one of which is a zip and link and can be set up as two 2'6" singles on request - and one twin with 3' single beds), an en-suite shower room and family bathroom with a bath and shower over. Perfect for a morning coffee and alfresco dining, the courtyard is a comfortable and quiet outdoor space in which to while away the afternoon as you fire up the barbecue and the sun goes down.
1 Railway Cottages is ideally situated for guests to enjoy a holiday in a lovely location for a short, mid-week stay or longer break. Spoilt for choice with fabulous eateries and places to visit, both in Holt and the next door villages, this bolthole is a great base from which to explore North Norfolk.
