Transferring of rooms had us confused and ultimately leaving

We booked through VRBO. About 4/5 days prior they called to let us know if we’re okay changing rooms mid vacation. Which was weird to us but alright by us. Staff let us know our transferring room was ready and would take place the following day at 10am(their suggested time) It was confusing to me because I don’t use VRBO and it was not a hotel setting. They indicated they meant normally people leave and come back with their things in their new room but that info was not relayed. We waited and when we realized staff was cleaning and not acknowledging us we just left to call the staff we spoke to. 45 minutes later deciding to go back home. This was a frustrating experience for our honeymoon. Requested refund and we’re denied. This was over all a very frustrating honeymoon for us.

What a great little property!

We so enjoyed our short stay here, it looks exactly as the picture. The location was down the street from the Spit and it was very convenient to get there. Plenty of parking and amenities. The room had a private balcony that overlooked the water, of course the view is better on the second floor. The place was clean and the owners were very attentive. Checked in with us before we got there and let us know that if we needed anything to contact them. And the big plus, the bathroom floor was heated! I only have two suggestions, one is that there is very little room in the bathroom for storage or a place to put your personal items. And the bed frame could be a little bit more sturdy. Every time I moved on the bed, it would squeak. But the size of the bed was perfect. Would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
