Escape & experience true Alaska at this newly build 1 bedroom w/ queen bed & loft w/ 2 full beds dry cabin on Caribou Lake, approximately 25 miles from Homer. This remote off grid getaway offers peaceful seclusion, stunning lake views, and direct access to Alaska's wilderness. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, wildlife watching, stargazing or catching the Northern Lights.

Important to know:
This is a remote property. There is no running water or flush toilet. Water must be hauled in & there is an outhouse. It is only access is by off road trail or lake ( ATV, UTV, bike, skis, hike, or plane). The cabin's heat is oil-drip, a generator is provided w/ 1 tank of gas, propane stove & fridge included.
Things to Bring: Drinking water, food, paper plates, eating utensils, bedding: blankets, fitted sheets, pillows, flashlights, extra TP, wash cloth, towels, extra unleaded gas.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash and put away any used dishes. Empty water container out if you bring water to use in it. Empty the drain bucket under the sink. Vacuum/mop floors and clean-up.
Turn the oil drip stove off, fuel tank valve, and propane off. Turn off the generator. Remove your food and trash. Lock up the cabin.
Please following these instructions so we don't have to add in a cleaning fee. Thanks!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
