The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were great and the hotel had great amenities but just as important was the location of the hotel. It was perfectly placed for going to all parts of HK Island and elsewhere as it was just a few minutes away from the MTR Station.

Staff on the 18/fl was exceptionally courteous, diligent and organized. The only drawback was the inconvenience of getting to my room via different elevator rides. Hopewell hotel is difficult to figure out how to get to from the Wan Chai MTR initially. There is are two lifts you need to take to get to level 19, level 19 is where the lobby is. It’s a brand new hotel which is great because it’s connected to the mall. There is a Starbucks in the hotel on Level 3 (near the escalator off the main road). Lots of food places around, but a lot of places close at 9pm for dinner.

Clean room, the staffs are great and very helpful. The only issue is the elevator and the confusion of the entrance to the lobby and then to the room. You have to go through different levels of elevator, and the line in waiting and walking from one place to another were very confusing. The place was packed with people and different stores and restaurants. One can waste a lot of time from all these kiosk and totally lost in a big maze. If there is any emergency like fire or disaster then it would not be a safe place to stay.
