Primary Suite: King canopy bed with premium linens and a luxurious oversized en-suite bath featuring dual-sink vanity, custom walk-in shower, and plenty of storage — plus stunning ocean views.

Second Bedroom: Queen bed with closet space and en-suite bathroom featuring a beautifully remodeled walk-in shower and single-sink vanity.

💨COOLING NOTICE: Hale Mahina does not have air conditioning. Each room has ceiling fans, jalousie-style windows, and benefits from consistent ocean breezes.



🚧 CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

A number of sinkholes have appeared on the property which restricts access to the lawn in some areas. These areas are cordoned off for guest safety. In 2026, repairs to the seawall will begin and will continue into 2027. The work will involve excavation and seawall reinforcement work with heavy equipment. The ambiance of Hale Mahina will be affected but we will try to maintain access to the beach area on the southside of the property. Check back for updates on the progress and view the webcam on Hale Mahina’s website for a real-time picture of the work.



🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular pest control, but some insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help. These occurrences do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.



☀️HAWAIʻI CLIMATE: Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife including geckos, ants & occasional roosters. Despite regular pest control, these are part of normal island living. Our units are carefully cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

This was a great spot for our family with having 2 bedrooms. The living room and main bedroom overlook the ocean and beach. The unit was equipped with everything needed in the kitchen. In addition they also had coolers, 6 beach chairs and beach umbrella. Normally the beach at the unit is great, however we were traveling during the recent storms and the beach was not usable. So having all the gear made it easy to head to a local beach.

The property is in excellent condition with great welcoming gifts, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs and coolers, soaps and lotions, etc. The host provided all info online and easy access with a code so no key required. It’s right on the ocean with the sounds of the surf. We would definitely book this property or another with the same host in the future. They are welcoming and efficient! Mahalo!

Update Descriotion

Please update the description so it accurately matches the unit. There is no bath tub in the unit as advertised and that was a factor in choosing this unit.Otherwise, hard to beat the Hale Mahina.
