This is a convienient hotel in Downtown Honolulu. Some of the best restsursntd in thr state are two blocks from the Hotel. Thr staff is very accomodating. The rooms are always clesn and contrary to popular belief the area is safe. The hotel offe4s excrptional value

The property is very clean and they have very good staffs. I didn’t like that the parking fee in the garage is so high. Otherwise, no complaints about the hotel. Beware of sketchy/homeless people in the area; it can be quite uncomfortable.

Felt safe going to room as need a coffee to get in the room and key fob to use the elevator. Unfortunately many homeless in the area and my floor smelled like someone peeing in a diaper like older people use. Staff was friendly.

Safe place to sleep

Needed a place for one night prior to the cruise and close to the pier. You have to go down the escalators to check in..that’s what makes this place safe. You then get a key fob to go to your floor (and no other floor). Room is clean and spacious with views of pier. 7-11 next door and first stop was Masubi! Delicious! We walked to dinner and walked through the historical sites back to the hotel at night. I would have someone with you as there’s homeless around just to be safe during the night. Would stay again.

Staying at the Aston was like stepping into a time machine. Popcorn ceiling, stained and torn carpets, paint peeling from the walls. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful but I have to admit this was one of my most disappointing hotel stays in recent memory.

The hotel was clean but it was dated, had an older smell , shower pressure was great however, the drain was very slow so the water will build up, i would stay there again if the price was reasonable. The area surrounding the location was ok a little on the grimey side but not the worst.

The room appeared to be a typical lower rent hotel room. The view was great. The facility was great. The room was run down. The toilet paper in the room was 1 ply that you would typically see in airports. The mini frig did not keep drinks very cold and the freezer did not work. I expected more from Aston at the Executive Centre Hotel. This room was not a typical room I have gotten from them in the past. Parking was $45.00 a day.
