Nice Location

This hotel was down at the end of the beach beside the zoo. There were still plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The busy part of Waikiki was within walking distance. The hotel was clean and across the street from a nice stretch of beach.

Everything worked perfect for us at Park Shore Waikiki. The room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed the beach towel service and the umbrella/beach chair rentals every day, which you get for free as hotel guests. The staff was always very friendly and attentive of all our needs. Highly recommend !

Overall nice stay. Walkable location and convenient to beach and stores. Room temperature and amenities were good. Shower had poor water pressure and fluctuating temperature. Bath towels were ripping and had holes. Outlet in bathroom was not secure. Needed more than one coffee machine in the lobby area. There was a continuous line in the morning. Also would have been a helpful to have a staff on hand to exchange beach towels.

Very practical being across the road from the beach and zoo, as well as many shops and restaurants nearby. We got the partial sea-view room and asked to be on the highest floor available for that room type to maximise the view from the balcony. Great to get an ocean view from our balcony every evening. Good value and very practical for young families.

We had a Junior Suite on the 14th floor. The views were amazing. We were able to see both Diamond Head and the beach. The rooms themselves need a little updating, but the bed was very comfortable, and we didn't spend a lot of time in the room itself. All the staff we dealt with were so very friendly. We felt very safe staying at this hotel. You were not able to get to the pool or any of the room floors unless you had a key. I saw other hotels on the strip that didn't have this same security. The location was perfect. Close to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was nice that we received a discount for food and beverages at Lulu's. They had great food and staff. We had rented a car and were originally going to park it offsite as parking was 52.00 per day without tax, but the valet parking was so convenient, and they were very prompt in getting the vehicle whenever we wanted it. I would definitely stay at the Park Shore again.

We stayed for a week. The location to the beach was incredible. The views are amazing!! The staff was always friendly! Our room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The AC was really good! They give you free sunscreen and aloe! And three free rentals and the Beach candy a day. The parking is only Valet and for a premium. But the parking nearby for overnight is almost nonexistent. Also they have a machine for water for free. And beach towels. Waikiki is busy. But this is on the most relaxing side.

The hotel was convenient to the beach and was in a walkable area. It's close to the Outrigger Canoe Club and Duke's Restaurant. Thats what was important to us.

I forgot my purse in the safe in my room 514. I called a few hours after to advise that I had forgotten it and the front desk advised me that they would notify the manager of housekeeping to check. When my purse was picked up $100 was missing from it. There was $1500 in my purse and only $1400 in it. The housekeeping manager said she had opened the safe while security stood at the door and she brought the purse downstairs to front desk. When the purse was picked up Ryan at front desk took forever to get it from the back room and then when advised that $100 was missing he said that the hotel had no policy to lodge a complaint and that a police report had to be filed. I have filed a report but am extremely disgusted by the lack of customer service exhibited by Ryan and his very suspicious behavior when returning my purse. It is not so much about the $100 but the principle. I fully trust housekeeping did nothing wrong. It was when my purse was given to the front desk that the discrepancy occurred. I will advise all family and friends to avoid this hotel at all costs as they seem to have dishonest unhelpful employees.

I would have given a 4.5 if I could. The corner lanai with ocean view was wonderful and being right across the boulevard from the ocean made for amazing sunsets and sunrises to watch! The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but still comfortable. Overall, the friendly staff, convenient location, and amazing views were the best and made our stay enjoyable. The room was a bit run down (e.g., thinner walls, so can hear traffic below, construction in the neighboring lot, shower didn't really get cold when we wanted it to, mini fridge a little warmer than what would be expected), but being so close to things made it workable. They also offered an option to rent a car by the hour, so the few trips we wanted to do outside of a tour bus and walking were fairly easy to do, without the hassle of parking fees. Amenities were perfect, as well. Would recommend this hotel, for sure, overall!
